A programmer must think the global context. For your knowledge, nvda can speak all those languages in which espeak is available. Fundamentally, nvda does not speak any thing. It is the tts which speaks. nvda simply recognizes the letters and informs the tts that there is this letter present. TTS simply says the text informed by nvda. nvda recognizes all language texts in which espeak is not available too. disabling auto detection on nvda is in voice setting. Read the userguide again.
