1) Assurance Senior: The role requires technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards and strong project management skills along with well-developed communication and leadership skills. Seniors work on increasingly challenge engagements, in order to gain the experience and skills needed to manage a portfolio. Seniors typically manage small teams comprising Associates, Advanced Associates and Lead Associates. Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years post-qualification experience from midsized to Big 4 audit background, potentially in BPO finance environment. Knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards. Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and International auditing standards is an advantage. Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation Skills. Project management, leadership, coaching, counseling and supervisory skills. Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing effectively in English. The ability to quickly form strong working relationship with colleagues in India and around the world. 2) Assurance Associate: The role of the Associate is to carry out routine substantive and controls-based audit testing for the Assurance GSS multinational clients. Clients are primarily based in the UK and the US. Key challenges for the role are to provide high quality results to the onshore team, often to a tight deadline. Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, onshore team's Work step allocation, and planned audit approach. Demonstrate basic understanding of an industry or sector and be aware of technical issues or audit risks. Knowledge of basic accounting and book-keeping. Good written and oral communication skills 3) Assurance - Assistant Manager: Lead a team of Seniors and Associates and make sure the team delivers high quality work, as per methodology, on time and to budget. Develop and maintain productive relationships with key US contacts, i.e., US audit managers and project managers. Develop an understanding of Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are embedded in to the engagement team's work. Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI, CPA, ICAEW, ACCA) with 2-4yrs post-qualification experience with either mid-or top-tier accounting firm, focused on external or statutory audits or MNC or larger domestic Indian companies, preferably within a Shared Service Environment. Knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards. Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and International auditing standards is an advantage.
