Hi,

There is a biometric machine installed here in my office too, and I find easier marking our attendence on a biometric machine rather than marking 'p' on a register unsure of the right column. Everything requires bit of learning and practise and these machines aren't an exception but there is nothing extraordinary in knowing these. 1. It is easier to remember the location of the machine rather than of a register. 2. Register can be replaced with some other book/register but Machine is one. 3. Each machine has a dedicated spot for marking the fingerprints and this spot is easily identifiable. 4. Most of the machines has audio feedback which says "Thank You" if finger is pressed on the right spot or "Please Try Again" if you've made a mistake.

With best regards,
Satguru

Subject: [AI] Biometric attendance!

With the installation of biometrics attendance systems in most of central got offices, I am wondering how the blind are using/adapting to the use of the machines. Do we have any exemption from recording our attendance on biometrics? if not, how to use the machines efficiently/effectively? advise/suggestions are invited. Thanks and regards, P. Subramani
