Dear Rahul and Hemanshu, Thanks for the additional info provided. How should this policy be implemented? I mean: 1. It would be applicable retrospectively? I am paying home loan EMIs since April 2014. Can I request my bank, Bank of Baroda to implement this policy and adjust my cost of loan (interest paid) so far? 2. If not, then are they at least liable to reduce interest rate hereon and therefore reduce my EMIs from this month? 3. What is the best way to effect this. Should I speak to the branch managers who are usually not well-informed on new policies or it is better to have top-bottom approach. Should I write to the MD BoB directly?
