Accmailers,

Please confine quoting of a message when you reply to it, to
*meaningful* *short* quotes. In the past day I counted ~80 lines
that could have been handled in say 10 lines. With the digest
growing to such a size as to be too large for some list members
to receive it would be polite to do this. Leave just enough so
that people know to what you are replying.

Subject: using www4servers to get free email

To cn007 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I've tried this, and mentioned this in an old post to this mailing list dated May 18
the
subject of my post was html forms and uuencode also another one dated May 12 as a
reply to
another person on the list named Mark. I guess you can try the other sites I've
suggested
there.This is the url: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Park/3283/free_pop.html

The problem why I couldn't successfully finish getting a free email using the
ww4servers
seems to lie with www4servers being unable to handle .pl files which are the usual
format
generated after filing up the form you send the www4server. I haven't tried this with
anything else. If you're more successful, please tell me how you did it!!

Is that archie server down or Is it a DNS problem somewhere??

Sorry about posting the message in its full glory (entirety doesn't look right)
but I thought it might make the solution easier to see.

Thanks

I placed this on the list of defunct archie servers in Nov 98 when it
started showing this message.

See http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/1236/servers.html for the
current active ones.

Sun has a whole list of setup programs for servers at:
http://www.sun.com/solaris/ds/ds-wswizards/

Except you need version 2.6 or later...

Under the terms and conditions

good or what?

Because you are using a stupid name and alias in your mail program and
trying
trying to be cute with a from address as:
acc-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

You subscription looks like:
Oleg Panchenko <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

If you wouldn't try to be cute, things would be OK.

You are now gone. Next time signup without the cute tricks.

BTW, then next time you post, please use a descriptive subject line.

A quick check at AltaVist on "+help topics +programming" tuned up
AltaVista found about 1,183,406 Web pages for you.

I think your request is a little to broad. How about limiting the request?
