Subject: Statistics problem

Over the last week or so, there's been a problem that has resulted in
under reporting the FTPMail servers.

This has been now fixed and the servers should start reappearing in the
statistics from Tue Aug 10. It will take some further days for them to
appear in the "Response within 4 hours in at least 5 out of 7 recent
tests" section.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Again, I like http://www.deja.com/ which is, I am told, not able to
be set up by email only BUT it does give you the lists you want by
email.

Let me know how more I can help.

     4. Group download in progress....
     5. Re: Teenager Programming Advice.

      ......

What does number 4 : " Group download in progress.... " mean here ?
Many many thanks in advance,

Gophermail server was faster that the gopher server that was returning
results of the newsgroup listing. That is, the gopher server was in the
process of updating or trasferring data and the gophermail program
didn't wait for it to finish. Could also be that the gopher server is
"stuck" trying to update a newsgroup listing.

Netters,

Cross-posted to Accmail and Help-Net

It appears as though the reference.com service is finally gone. I
checked today and got a "not found" but now see this message at
http://www.reference.com/

NOTICE: Reference.com will be unavailable until further notice.
Thank you for supporting Reference.com.

So Usenet by email is now getting damn near impossible...

Netters,

Cross-posted to Accmail and Help-Net.

It appears that [EMAIL PROTECTED] is also DEFUNCT. Since Saturday,
the actual web site http://www.emailfetch.com/ has been "Not found".

Help commands to [EMAIL PROTECTED] go into a "black hole".
