Here is another solution that might interest you.
It's a Perl script, so first you must get Perl.
If you are using Windows, take Mr Boyd's advice
and obtain ActivePerl -- it's one of the best
freebies of the millennium.

The perl script you need to convert you email is
called MHonArc, and is also free.

Download zip file (719 kb) is at
http://www.oac.uci.edu/indiv/ehood/tar/MHonArc2.4.4.zip

Download gzip file (452 kb) is at
http://www.oac.uci.edu/indiv/ehood/tar/MHonArc2.4.4.tar.gz

Unzip it and follow the instructions.

You will need to dump your email out of your email
program -- either as one large file, or as separate
files in one folder.

MHonArc scans all your email messages, then creates
a fully threaded set of HTML pages -- one for each
message, with date and thread indices. Output is
customisable, and there are many further options.

MHonArc is the script used by the Mail Archive to
create and maintain archives of several thousand
mailing lists.

I use it to make the public archive of the
WebSite-By-Email list at
http://internettrash.com/users/websitebyemail/

The current (edited) archive can be downloaded
as a zip file (177 kb) from
http://home.freeuk.net/szs/wbe_arc.zip

Using MHonArc is also a very good way to learn
about email headers -- what they do and how they
work -- and about MIME.

Subject: connection time and data

Cross-posted to ACCMAIL and HELP-NET mailing lists.

Sometimes ago, a list member asked for a program to mintor connection time,
and data sent and received.

I found a free program, named Tick. Here is some of its abilities:

"TICK aims to enhance the current Dial Up Networking facilities provided in
Windows by automatically detecting any dial up networking connections and
provide extra features such as a pop up digital display, full call logging
and costing, Internet Tools and much more."

You can download it from:
http://www.reallyeffectivesoftware.co.uk/tick/

The program size is about 500kBytes. If you have problems downloading it, I
can send a splitted zipped version to you, thanks to program owner, Paul
McKnight, who sent it to me.

Hope it helps,
Mohammad

Yes there is !- the e-mail service provided by CNN.com web page is one
that I know of . It is actually by Mail.Com (or as it is said in CNN's mail
pages, it is "powered by Mail.Com" ) In this you can have the account
either as a Webmail or as a Forwarder to your designated e-mail address -
of course you can't have it to do both simultaneously, but can switch
between the two modes any number of times, AFAIK. For more information
check out the following pages

http://email.cnn.com/member/login.page
http://email.cnn.com/signup/signup.page

BTW, I was able to set up an account in the above by ACCMAIL methods (in
July '99) - via www4mail at trieste.

There may be others like the above - you can look in the following :

http://www.emailaddresses.com

In this there are links to lists of free email servers, pop3 mail servers,
forwarding services and pop mail checking servers.
