Subject: Acrobat Reader: How to edit and convert ?
Hi everybody,
I have some problems regarding Acrobat Reader software that I would like to
consult you.
Firstly, let me sorry if my problems are in off topics. You know, I have not
kept in touch our list for a long time.
Secondly, here are my questions:
1. How to use Acrobat Reader 3.0 or another software (please recommend) to edit
a new file in Acrobat format (*.pdf) ?
2. How to convert an Acrobat formatted file to another format (for example:
Winword format (*.doc)) along with its pictures charts, or graphics ?
Thank you very much in advance,
I appreciate for your advices and comments.
Best regards,
DN. Trung

Hi everyone,
I've just done the upgrade of I.E and O.E from 4.0 to 5.0 version. The get
selected document of pages retrieved via ww4 servers dosen't work? Why and
what can I do?
Thanks a lot.
Alessandro Agostinetti
Hi Mathews & Alessandro,
Both of you can use the XJSDUMP option while requesting the pages to www4
The Syntax goes like this.
TO : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJ : blank
Body:
XJSDUMP
url address here.
You get back the url. View it in a browser. The links will have check
boxes. Check the required links and click on "Get selected documents" You
browser window will now show a coding. Just copy everything in the window.
Paste this information in a new mail message and send it to www4 again to
get the selected documents.
I am sure this will work.
have a nice day.
Bye
Azeem

Hope this is the begining of a new era in India:

Madurai is a temple city and a cultural epicentre in southern India.
Now if only they could do something about the terrible telephone metering
rate!
I might add here that web-based (email and other) services become all the
more important if this trend continues, since connections of this nature do
not provide any kind of "account" for storage, POP3/SMTP etc. I remember
awhile back on this list someone trashing the IMAP-like functionality
afforded by the Hotmail/Outlook Express service etc...

Subject: how to know if a name (for a domain) is registered
Hello accmailers,
I have to pick up a suitable name for a domain. But before doing that I must be sure
that
such name is available, i.e., not taken by anybody. Well, I need to make the search by
e-mail. Does any one of you happen to know where (which URL) I could start searching?
Thanks.

send http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois?STRING=netcom.com
Relace netcom.com with the domain you wish to use to see if it is taken...
