And the CONFIG_FUSION_SPI is SCSI Parallel Interface, such as 1030. Per Bjorn Helgaas suggestion, all the debug defines can be enabled/disabled in the driver Makefile. They are all listed there. You will see DMPT_DEBUG_INIT in the MPT general section. In addition, pls can you enable DMPT_DEBUG_FAIL and DMPT_DEBUG_DEBUG.
