    thanks for the test.
    From the description in comment #60 it seems that the RTC cmos
area(0x40-0x44) is used by BIOS. As it can't be used by OS, it is difficult to
track where suspend/resume hangs.
    Will you please try the updated debug patch and do the test as mentioned in
comment #57? In the debug patch the 0x60-0x64 RTC cmos area is used to track
where suspend/resume hangs.
