------- Comment #89 from [email protected] 2008-12-28 22:41 ------- Hi, Johannes thanks for the test. From the info in comment #81 it seems that the system can be shutdown if the S5 SLP_TYP is written immediately after ACPI full initialization. But from the info in comment #88 it can't be shutdown if the S5 SLP_TYP is written after building ACPI device tree. In the source code building ACPI device tree follows the ACPI full initialization. In the course of building ACPI device tree OS only checks whether there exists the ACPI handle for some ACPI devices and won't evaluate it. Will you please double check the patches in comment #73/#85 again? Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
