    thanks for the test.
    From the info in comment #81 it seems that the system can be shutdown if
the S5 SLP_TYP is written immediately after ACPI full initialization. But from
the info in comment #88 it can't be shutdown if the S5 SLP_TYP is written after
building ACPI device tree.
    In the source code building ACPI device tree follows the ACPI full
initialization. In the course of building ACPI device tree OS only checks
whether there exists the ACPI handle for some ACPI devices and won't evaluate
it.
    Will you please double check the patches in comment #73/#85 again?
