Since the new behavior is what Windows does, there likely are more systems that
require the NVS store/resstore, because that's what hardware vendors test.  The
problem is if we go back to the old behavior, we'll never know.

BTW, does your system require acpi_sleep=nonvs to hibernate correctly?

The only "solution" we can use at this point is to choose the default and
blacklist the systems that need to be handled differently.
