An update: it turns out that pcie_aspm=force doesn't fully solves the problem.
With that option, sometimes it works, but it may freeze the computer anyway.
The problem I had in my previous post about the random freezes were actually
related to the automatic brightness change from my power-saving options.

So the bug still stands: laptops with intel graphics freezes when changing the
brightness.
