The closest option I see to that is a CPU Power Management toggle (as well as
speedstep, thermal management etc, full list here:
http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/content/user_guides/x230_ug_en.pdf), but no
combination of options changes the dmesg output.

Forgive my ignorance, is it possible the BIOS is just buggy, and the 'missing
support' is overridden by Windows or the Lenovo power management software?
