My current plan is to implement a PSD which contains 1) the Intel ACPI core architecture library 2) the interrupt handler stuff required to support UNI/SMP IO-APICs and ACPI events 3) most likely some device enumeration code to initialize devices still left untouched by the BIOS 4) t.b.d. If the system is running on a W4 kernel some ACPI support by some other means is still possible but without taking advantage of IO-APICs. Handling ACPI events may be more difficult then. I won't put any efforts into supporting the non-PSD approach. Ciao, Dani ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe acpi-os2 end
