Hi again,

Still trying to work this thing out!....

I think my problems begin as soon as I launch 4D Server 2003 on OSX.

Here's what happens:

I set the TCP port to 8080 and launch Server directly, I get an OpenTpt TCP error -3150

I set the TCP port to 80 and launch Server directly, I get an OpenTpt TCP error -3150 and "This database cannot be published"

I set the TCP port to 8080 and launch Server through Pseudo, I get an OpenTpt TCP error -3150

I set the TCP port to 80 and launch Server through Pseudo, I get an OpenTpt TCP error -3150

I set the TCP port to 80 and launch Server through Pseudo using an incorrect username/password, I get no errors.

This final option allows WebSTAR/Lasso to access the database OK, and when I launch the 4D Client on the server computer I am able to open up the Session monitor and Preferences tables from the Active4D menubar item.

However, in the Preferences window the Server IP still shows as 0.0.0.0

I wish I was less clueless. Further help much appreciated....

David Wright
