Have downloaded the demos and read the manual once, so naturally Im now ready to give up.
Don't give up. I felt like this the first time but after a very short period everything clicks and you'll see the simplicity and power of using Active4D.
I would suggest you just start with a basic html page. Nothing fancy, no templates. Just get it retrieving/sending data to and from 4D and you'll have done the hard bit.
The guys on this forum are very knowledgeable and always willing to help and Aparajita gives first class support for his product so just keep plugging away.
Good luck, Michael.

How do I create a template like <Demo_Mac:web:basics:forms.a4d> and get code behind it?
In Word, I can see its a template or layout or something graphic, and I can tell theres some code behind it, but I cant seem to access all that code and have no idea how to create it.
All advice appreciated. _______________________________________________ Active4d-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.aparajitaworld.com/mailman/listinfo/active4d-dev
