Our application is 4D 2003.4 running on Windows 2003sbs with Active4D 3.0 We have this application at several sites and the web section is optional. If they don't want the web then we still put the A4D in the win4dx, but don't install the Active4D or web folders.
This morning one of these sites wanted to reboot their server, so stopped the 4D server service and rebooted the server. It was set to Automatic, so they expected it to restart when the server did, but it only ran for a few seconds. Repeated attempts to restart failed until we removed the Win4dx. We replaced the plug-ins one at a time, until the last one Active 4D caused 4D to begin quitting again.
