Hi Aparajita,
Recently I've had to add a couple of extensions to the
"ExtensionMap.ini" file.
Obviously this is a no brainer and very easy to do once you realise ,
however it took me about 30 minutes each time (about two months in
between the two times I had to do it) to remember, all the time I was
shouting at the applet/activex for not working properly ;)
The two I added were:
.CAB CAB SIT! application/activex
.JAR TEXT CWIE application/octet-stream
Perhaps you could add these too the default ExtensionMap.ini file so
others don't have the small amount of pain I had, unless of course
you had a good reason why you didn't add these, if so I'd like to
hear it.
