I've not experienced any problem using Safari. Can I ask what version of Safari you are using and what Mac OS Version.

May be worth doing the normal first aid things like running Repair Privileges in Disk Utility and then doing a full restart.

Could it be a memory problem? Safari does have some memory leaks?

Are you seeing Safari time out? You can use a number of utilities to increase the time out time. It may help...
