I have done the repair priv. and fsck with restart to no avail.
Now I have tried omniweb and everything works, so it is not the
webkit, ok not the version active in this omniweb version.
The problem is, if somebody with this version of safari comes to my
server, my server just hangs.
So many thanks for now, but more would be nice.

May be worth doing the normal first aid things like running Repair
Privileges in Disk Utility and then doing a full restart.
Could it be a memory problem? Safari does have some memory leaks?
Are you seeing Safari time out? You can use a number of utilities
to increase the time out time. It may help...
