I recently started working on another project in which A4D had already been installed, but development didn't get very far. Since my first project worked so well, I am migrating the updates I've made.

The problem I am having with this project is that when A4D Init (the plugin method - not A4D_Init) runs, it takes well over 10 minutes to run (like 14-15). In the previous project it took well under a minute (20-30 secs) and it is a much more complex 4D and web structure. Both structures are based on the same internal shell, although the first has evolved much more.

While this second project had been running on Windows, I have converted it back to Mac and have included the Mac4DX folder from the first project. Actually, I've also included the Active4D folder from the first, but did set any settings back to defaults.

Using MacMini (1.66, 2Gb) & MBP (2.16, 2 GB), Mac OS X 10.4.10, A4D 4.0.2, 4D 2003.8r2 single & server...

I can only guess what A4D Init is doing, but suspect it is pre- loading a lot of stuff, but may be getting lost with this structure.

TIA,

Jim
