Using MacMini (1.66, 2Gb) & MBP (2.16, 2 GB), Mac OS X 10.4.10,
A4D 4.0.2, 4D 2003.8r2 single & server...
Jim,
the MacMini is the problem. I had a similar situation. Going back
to G4 QuickSilver solved the problem.

After all the other posts, it is obvious that this not a hardware
problem - or mac mini. I serve out RoR and PHP sites on a mini with
no problem. It's an old one and, while the disk is a notebook disk,
it is no slouch.
Look for a bad --onLoad-- in a circuit library. If you can't see
it, maybe Aparajita can send you a debugging logging version and
you can tell if A4D Init is stuck on startup.
It could also be a symbolic link that leads outside the web root. I
realized I may be following symbolic links. If so, obviously I need
to fix that.
I will look into the whole issue soon.
Regards,
Aparajita
