the MacMini is the problem. I had a similar situation. Going back
to G4 QuickSilver solved the problem.

After all the other posts, it is obvious that this not a hardware
problem - or mac mini. I serve out RoR and PHP sites on a mini with
no problem. It's an old one and, while the disk is a notebook disk,
it is no slouch.
Look for a bad --onLoad-- in a circuit library. If you can't see it,
maybe Aparajita can send you a debugging logging version and you can
tell if A4D Init is stuck on startup.
