I'm not leaving.  We have too much invested and I'm too happy with
using the command set I already know, not to mention the vast
modernization you have made to the command set with A4D.  It works and
it works well.

I think I would start experimenting, but there needs to be a good data
abstraction layer for PHP-ODBC to 4D. I haven't found anything that
just works.
