Brad,

"Workstation"is the Windows version of the product, i.e. run multiple instances 
of "WinXP" inside (or on top) of Windows XP. You can do the same with 
Microsoft's version of "VirtualPC" (can't remember the exact name of the 
product now)

Further, VMware's Server is free, and there are a lot of premade containers 
available in the "Virtual Appliance Marketplace"
