The first WIndows 2000 DC in your forest automatically takes the role of PCD
emulator (in mixed mode). In other words, this machine will act as a NT4 PDC
for backwards compatibility. When connecting from a DOS machine you will
notice no difference connecting to this W2K DC or NT4 DC.
