can you tell me more about why you are trying to trap event in AD.
As far as i can tell AD does not have an event engine so you either
check for changes or a periodic basis or try to use the ADSI interface
from Microsoft.

Subject: [ActiveDir] Trapping Events in the AD

I am trying to find out how to trap synchronous events
in the AD. From what I can gather, one can trap
asynchronous events, or be notified after the event
has occurred, but this is not sufficient.

Anybody have some ideas?

Thanks
