[ActiveDir] /3GB switch

We have several multi-processor win2k member servers with 4GB of memory. (mail 
servers)  Because they are standard server, I know that I shouldn't use the /3GB 
switch in the boot.ini.  Can anyone explain to me why I should upgrade to advanced 
server?  Am I not getting the full value of the 4GBs of memory installed?  Thanks in 
advance for the education!
