We use it outside of the active directory and have been pleased with the
results. We have generated a reg hack that will set the windows update on
the computers to look to one server and then install the updates and reboot.
We haven't had any problems to speak of. We do have some that perform the
update and then don't reboot because they are running databases that have to
be shut down manually. In that case we set it to download the updates and
then manually reboot the computers in the morning hours.

Subject: [ActiveDir] SUS?

Has anyone deployed (or like using) SUS? (Software Update Services)
within AD? Just curious to see what others think about this..

Thanks,

Wes
