http://support.microsoft.com/?id=322692 offers some good information about
functional levels and things to watch for.  If you have any down-level
clients (non-2k or XP) then you'll want to be sure you understand the
impact.  SAMBA clients can be fun as well. 

Since you'll also have to modify the schema, you'll want to read the readme
etc to fully understand the impact.  Testing is always a recommended
practice.

Has anyone installed a Win 2003 Server as a DC in a Win 2000 domain?  

Any problems in doing so?  I want to starting moving to W2K3 as DC, but,
management is worried that something will go wrong once I promote the
W2K3 server as an additional DC.
