Sounds more like a poorly written Java app.  Sorry, I've never had occasion to try and change the threads the OS can deal with via GPO and I don't see any obvious way.

I’m try to t-shoot another administrators work on an application. Its 3rd party app and I wanted to rule out GP, so I wanted to know if there’s a way in GP to hard core or increase the number of threads.

The error I’m getting is “unable to create native thread”

I'm curious.  What's the purpose of applying on many machines?

Does anyone know if you can increase or limit the number of threads that Windows can handle?

If so is it avail in Group policy any where or just registry?

Thanks

Mike
