Windows 2000
Server, I’m leaning more toward the App side but I need o convince the developers
it’s not a windows problem. This is the reason why I wanted to try and
increase the “Native thread” size in windows so I can prove
it’s related to the application and not Windows. From: Cotter, Paul M.
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Is the app working on other
machines? I would tend to think this is more likely to be the result of a
code bug (passing an invalid handle to the thread constructor etc.) than a
machine limitation. What version of Windows are you trying to
run this on? Is this a NET app or not? If you re running on w2k3,
is the app compatible with that platform? I've seen a couple of apps that
couldn't run on Windows 2003. Paul From:

to t-shoot another administrators work on an application. Its 3rd
party app and I wanted to rule out GP, so I wanted to know if there’s a
way in GP to hard core or increase the number of threads. The error
I’m getting is “unable to create native thread” Mike From: Mulnick, Al
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm curious. What's the purpose of
applying on many machines? From: Does anyone
know if you can increase or limit the number of threads that Windows can
handle? If so is it avail
in Group policy any where or just registry? Thanks Mike Sr Network
