Thanks for the replies guys…. The thing is that there user accounts are ‘FirstName
Surname’ and e-mail addresses should be ‘uname’. The rest of
the clients are setup like that and working fine but I can’t see why this
user is not. From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael B. Smith Change their name in A/D and wait for the
mailbox cache to expire. That should take care of it. (It make take up to two hours fo rthe
mailbox cache to expire. See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];327378 for
more information on that.) From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Rutherford I know it’s possible on pop3/smtp
but they are using straight exchange :O( From: Comeau, Steven
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hmmmm…. I have several SMTP
addresses and my primary is set as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(I’m getting rejected from the Active Directory list because I
haven’t changed my name on their list from [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Unless they
are using POP3/SMTP, where there is a field for the reply to address in the
setup of Outlook, it is supposed to work. Steven Comeau From: Robert
Rutherford [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] That doesn’t seem to be the case
here. Take the below :- From: User Name
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] If you look at the above you will see [EMAIL PROTECTED] ….. this
should read [EMAIL PROTECTED] . The
uname address is set as the primary on Exchange. BR Rob From: You can have several SMTP addresses (Email
addresses) in Exchange for each user, but by setting the Primary one, that
becomes the default reply-to address. Steven Comeau From: Robert
Rutherford [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi All, I know this is off topic but I have no real Exchange
knowledge…. This is probably a stupid question but I have spent some time
on google and couldn’t see a resolution. I’ve got a customer running SBS2003 and
Outlook2003. She wishes to change her ‘from’ address in outlook to
a different alias… how do I do this? I created the alias and set it to
her default and I can send mail to the alias. Thanks. Rob
