That box is a friendly front-end to an ACL modification...easy enough to do by clicking on the security tab and granting the desired group Allow Write Members. Both are set for native node. Original we were in mix mode because of NT domain. Now we are in Native mode but we are still not able to add group to the “Managed by” attribute on distribution list. In the MS Exchange 2000 Server Administrator’s companion, it stated that you can designate as owner nay user, group or contact in the Global Address Book.  Whenever we try to update the “managed by” field for any distribution list, only users and contacts are list. Even if we try adding valid group, the “select users and contact” screen pop up state that it can’t find the group. Since we were never able to add group to the “managed by” attribute of Distribution List I am not sure if the system is behaving as design or we are missing a step when we move AD and exchange to Native mode.
