Ouch. Been there, done that. Walked through the fix with Dell or HP;
can't remember which. Anyway, it involved booting into the recovery
console and replacing the driver file from the RC. The vendor was able
to ID the file and location pretty easily.
Another method is to reinstall the old card and then install the driver
while the old card is running. If done correctly, the drivers won't take
for the current card, but will be available for the new one when
installed.
This is a good one to burn a call to the vendor's support dept.
