The cable harness and backplane are two places for single point of failure on a single server, but if something can be clustered this resolves those issues.  However, the disk since it's one of the few mechanical components of a server system is something to be concerned about since the changes of a disk failure is probably greater on a well-built server than any other component.   Chuck
