Thanks to The Molk!

We have 2 servers (members), one at each site that replicates between
them (no shortage of bandwidth at the University).

We have 2 replication groups. One is "Data" (a root folder), with many
sub folders being replicated individually; the other group is "Pictures"
(also a replicated folder).

We have full replication bandwidth, 24x7 on the Data group and folders
under it. The Pictures group/folder only replicates at night (i.e. a
backup) - it has many subfolders. The Pictures folder WAS 24x7, and
gave me the most issues with renaming folders. When I moved it to
replicate at night scheme (12:30-4:30 am), the issues disappeared.

Some replicated folders under "Data" exhibit the "relapse" issue, but I
need to keep them 24x7, full bandwidth since users at both sites access
the data constantly.

Thanks!

Steve,

I'll weigh in - I'm no DFSR legend, but I like to think I am learning
more about it every day, and things like this only help me learn more...

You say you have no replication of your DFS topology, except for one
folder - what is the replication topology (you know, full mesh, etc)?
What is the timeframe for your replication?

Let's start there...
