Have you looked at the FRS diagnostic tools available? I find FRSdiag useful for troubleshooting issues whilst Sonar and Ultrasound are useful for monitoring as well as troubleshooting.

One is "Data" (a root folder), with many sub folders being replicated individually; the other group is "Pictures" (also a replicated folder). We have full replication bandwidth, 24x7 on the Data group and folders under it. The Pictures group/folder only replicates at night (i.e. a backup) - it has many subfolders. The Pictures folder WAS 24x7, and gave me the most issues with renaming folders. When I moved it to replicate at night scheme (12:30-4:30 am), the issues disappeared. Some replicated folders under "Data" exhibit the "relapse" issue, but I need to keep them 24x7, full bandwidth since users at both sites access the data constantly. Thanks!
