I haven't really found an answer to this issue in older threads but I'm
sure it's been covered many times. I wanted to use NetAddr::IP and
couldn't find it in any of my repositories. I checked the docs and
tried installing from CPAN. I tried answering all the questions and
installed as many gnu utils as I could but I still cannot get the module
to install properly yet alone get to the cpan> prompt.

Is there an easier way to just use the source files instead of all these
hurdles? Or maybe there is a way to get the cpan working? I'll b the
first to admit that I'm very new to this process.

btw, I'm running 5.8.6 Build 811.

Kind regards,
Glenn
