Thanks for the assist.  I was able to pull the IP.pm from the source and
copy it to .../site/lib/NetAddr and it seems to be working.  I stumbled
across NetAddr::IP and found that it handles the addressing and
subnetting in such a manner to make it easy to use whatever kind of
input I get from the user.

This is my first jump into manipulating addresses and sadly enough
Net::IP may do the trick for me as well, and I already had it installed.
So many modules, so much to learn.  Again, many thanks for the help.

Would Net::IP work as well ?  It's on PPM.
