Hi, being new in here I hope that you all don't mind me placing my opnion in here.
I seriously didn't consider the offer of a program that would help me to learn asp as a spam email.(If this were to be the case, wouldn't offering of links be considered a sort of spam? In essence you are recomending another persons place of information that could also have products to sell on it, such as the matrix, which even though a freeware is still offering a product) If that is what this thread is relating to. The other persons offer I didn't see, so I can't comment on that. Though his abreviated comment I did find offensive. To me that is something that shouldn't be on a list. I have been in so many forums searching for a way to learn asp/asp.net with an xp home computer, who MS appeared to have left out of this technology. I can't even instal PWS on my computer. I have had recomendations give to me to "hack install" that of which I would have no knowledge of doing. I have been diligent in my search to learn this. I know that it is going to take me a while, however, if I can't get the proper things installed on my pc, how then am I to learn this. Is this something then that is restricted to those whos' os's are above or below mine? If this forum acts this way when someone tries to help someone else then this isn't the form for me. I had joined with the hopes of finding help from people, which I did and apprecaite all their words of help and also encouragement. I'm sure that there are others in the same position that I'm in. The desire to learn, no money to upgrade or purchase products that might enable me to learn. I'm sorry that I have vented so long. --- You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
