Let me clarify the position about product endorsement versus advertising. First of all, the reason I posted the FolderTree Pro product is because the product is based on a popular series of articles whose readers have asked repeatedly to be notified if the technology becomes commercially available. So, an obvious way to reach those readers and others is through this list.
Many developers who use this list have created commercially available components. It is acceptable to endorse, recommend, critique, or not recommend a product as a solution to a problem that a fellow list member raises. It is NOT acceptable to post unsolicitied product advertisements. Those who wish to advertise their products on this list should contact our advertising department or me.
