One advice: when you are a bit worked in you should get rid of frontpage. i know it's easy and comes with the office suite, but if you want to do some serious work, then dump it. it's very tempting to only use the FrontPage WYSIWYG Editor, but at some point it is better to switch to proffesional programs like Macromedia (allaire) Homesite or Macromedia Dreamweaver. And when going into .NET the Matrix or even better, the complete Visual Studio 7 suite.
oh, one of the benefits of going to .NET which hasn't been mentioned is that when you know the VB.NET structure, not only can you create ASP.NET pages, you can also dive into windows application programming which is a less greater step then going from vbscript (classic asp) to vb6. regards remie bolte ----- Original Message ----- From: "deb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "ActiveServerPages" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2002 1:34 PM Subject: RE: classic asp/asp.net > Shawn: > I have written down the name of the book that you have mentioned here. > Also I have on the way from Wrox publishers, Begining Active Server Pages > 3.0 and Begining ASP Databases I have also writen down the MS site that > you have mentioned. > > I'm working on the html while doing the asp.
