Remie: I prefer hand coding over front page. I have learned the html before learning front page, and still prefer the hand doing. The only thing about fp that is nice is that it is quicker. I have already had to go in and adjust a table. So knowing the html was a benifit to me. I know that there are people who swear by front page as far as designing their pages, and it is good with the templates.
The course that I'm taking for html, I know that I could have went into front page and did the table desings that I was held up on. However, would I have learned what I was trying to learn? Nope. Hand coding was the way to go. I had many people trying to get me to use the front page for this, however the bull horns just grew bigger with each suggestion. I was doing this on my own. Not with front page. I finally got it! Lol, now a table within a table is the next step!(btw, I purchased front page, it didnt come with my os. I have windows xp home edition.) I have homesite 5.0 on my computer, I have went into it, but it is a bit daunting right now.:>) I have looked for a book online however the only one that I could find on it was on the previous version. I'm not sure if they are basically the same and if the 4.5 book would be benneficial to helping learn this program or not. appreciate your input!!!! --- You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
