Matthew, I find your reply very interesting, and very informative. I started learning the classic asp because of the "backround of asp". Which is what someone had guided me towards in learning.
I know this may sound goofy, but I look at the differences in learning the asp.net after the classic as going from html to xml or xhtml. There are differences and things that you can and can't use. So I think that after learning the classic, which appears easy so far.... lol. I most likely will jinx myself saying that one. I appreciate your input. I have been researching the two for a few months now. So I wanted to get some differences in opnion from in here to see what people think. I feel that it sort of helps the learning process a bit.
