Thanks Daniel, this is powerful stuff! Nothing subtle about it... looks like another big KO for .NET over J2EE. Can't help but wonder why Middleware - supposedly a J2EE developer - would be promoting this!
One thing about .NET jumped out at me: between .NET 1.0 and .NET 1.1, the throughput performance on 2-processor servers was identical. Only the 4-processor and 8-processor tests showed greater throughput in .NET 1.1 over .NET 1.0. -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Field [mailto:daniel@;worldof.net] Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2002 11:10 AM To: ActiveServerPages Subject: OT: J2EE vs .NET RE my previous questions about which is better... http://www.middleware-company.com/j2eedotnetbench/ This is from middleware company, who are more biased towards Java in my opinion but have shown that .net is better. --- You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
