Diane,
I remember seeing somewhere in my perusing that

"Front Page Extensions doesn't load the whole MDAC leaving you in the lurch.
I installed the latest MDAC and all is fine."

Have you tried reinstalling the latest MDAC again?

The code runs fine on the machine I developed it on, and on our webhost, and
on my machine at home. It's just my boss's machine that has a problem. I
am trying to get him to run a simple page that really could be an HTML
page - simply displays the ubiquitous "Hello World". I want to see if the
.asp extension is the problem. The website's homepage makes heavy use of
the database, and Dylan's last post got me thinking. I'm also trying to get
some error messages out of him to send to the list.

Hold on - are you sure this an IIS error and not an error in your
application, since it hasn't been successfully run on this machine
before? Try creating a .asp page with very little code in it (like
displaying the system time) or just html - try that and let us know if
it works.

Now that sounds like an idea! Too bad it isn't my machine. My husband
and
I are considering getting a new car. This way, I could not only have
some
decent transportation, I could program it as well! No more maps for me!
Hmmm... I could add a couple of sensors and an accident avoidance
routine.
<thinking hard> Now where would I find a good set of wings?

<laughing> Oh well, I can dream can't I?

Thanks for a Friday laugh Matthew,
Diane

I think she should totally take the computer apart, clean it with WD-40,
and then reassemble it with entirely new parts, (new washers, shocks,
pistons, rods, and hard drive) then reload windows for workgroups 3.1.
That should take care of the problem. :-)
