Good afternoon Alyssa,
About 5 years ago, we worked with our faculty governance group to convert,
for lack of another word, their senate policies into administrative
policies, which is a combination of academic policies and operational
policies.

These academic policies go through the same review and approval process
except that there is more intense consultation with our faculty governance
group(s). The template for these policies is the same as for our HR and
Research policies (for example). The responsible University officer is the
SVP of Academic Administration and Provost, because she has the operational
responsibility to ensure that we can support the policies (tools,
resources, etc.).

This is the long way of saying that now they are housed together.

Good luck,
Michele
