Hi Holly,

Emory does not have an Ombuds program for staff but it recently established an
ombudsperson for students. I will ask her for any related policy.

I agree with the suggestion already given to contact the national ombuds
organization. They have standards and other resources on their website.

Best,
Sarah

Subject: [acupa-l] Ombudsman Policy

Hello Everyone:

Does your institution have an Ombudsman's Office and if so, what is the scope
of the office and the reporting structure? Does the office have a policy that
governs it?

Thanks for your assistance. Happy Thanksgiving.

Holly Kinkaid
